SPOKANE – On Wednesday evening, at approximately 9:35 pm, Spokane Valley Deputies were attending to a serious hit-and-run vehicle/pedestrian crash on E. Broadway Avenue, near N. Carnahan Road and N. Yardley Street. While the investigation was underway and the road was blocked by patrol cars with active emergency lights, a Saturn Vue driven by 63-year-old Raymond T. Jones collided with one of the patrol cars at an estimated speed of 60 mph.
