SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane man accused of two attacks in downtown Spokane is set to go to trial in May.
Avondre Graham appeared in court in March of 2023. Graham is accused of attacking a woman outside of her apartment in September of 2022 and another woman near Stevens and Main last January.

Graham’s trial was supposed to start in late February, but on Monday, his attorney asked the judge to push the trial date to May 6. The attorney cited scheduling conflicts and the need for more time to prepare for a trial that could send Graham to prison for the rest of his life, if he is convicted.
The judge agreed to the request.
In 2023, Graham was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the murder of Sharlotte McGill, who was walking her dog along South Riverton in east Spokane.
Graham admitted to hitting her with a large rock, then stabbing her multiple times.
He was 17 years old at the time and admitted to attacking two other women, including a Gonzaga student.
