Man arrested in connection to multiple Spokane bank robberies

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man suspected of robbing multiple banks around Spokane over a four-month period.

According to deputies, 40-year-old Dustin T. Perrin was identified as the suspect in robberies at the First Interstate Bank on 57th Ave. in October of 2023 and the Numerica Credit Union on Regal St. in November.

SCSO says Perrin was identified by a Washington state crime lab using DNA on the bank note used at the First Interstate robbery.

Detectives say on January 22 of this year, Perrin was supposed to have a court appearance on an unrelated forgery charge but did not show.

At that time, Spokane police responded to a reported bank robbery at Washington Trust Bank, and Perrin was identified as a suspect.

On January 29, SPD located and arrested Perrin just north of downtown Spokane.

He was booked on three counts of first-degree robbery.

SCSO says Perrin is an eight-time convicted felon including counterfeiting, theft, and forgery.
