SPOKANE, Wash. — Someone was slightly hurt in a kitchen fire in north Spokane Wednesday.
The fire happened around 1:00 p.m. on N. Howard St. near N. Division. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire. It’s not known if a person was burned, suffered slight smoke inhalation or a secondary injury, but they were expected to recover.
The exact cause of the fire was not immediately release. The fire was a good reminder to never leave cooking food unattended, and clean up grease spots in between cooking meals.
