COEUR D’ALENE – Elton Joe Roberts, a 46-year-old man from Post Falls with a significant criminal record, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for Attempted Strangulation following a domestic dispute in October 2023. During the incident, Roberts attempted to choke his partner, an act classified as a felony with a punishment of up to 15 years behind bars. The sentencing took place on January 31, 2024.
