DEER PARK, Wash. — A belly dump truck from Idaho spilled 20,000 pounds of calcium on Highway 395 and Bulldog Road Monday morning.
Washington State Patrol District 4 PIO Sergeant Greg Riddell said the driver fled the scene, and troopers found the spilled load and told officers at the truck scale in Deer Park, where the driver was cited.
Riddell thanks Dawson Trucking, who volunteered a truck to the Department of Transportation to help clean up the mess.
