SPOKANE, Wash. — Multiple shoplifting suspects were arrested on the South Hill on Monday.
According to the Spokane Police Department, officers responded to the Target on South Regal on reports of a theft. Employees contacted 911 advising several suspects left the store with two shopping carts of stolen items totaling almost $2,000.
SPD says one of the carts was abandoned in the parking lot, and the suspects left in an RV along with the other cart of stolen merchandise.
Police found the suspect vehicle near 57th and Palouse Highway, and the RV had multiple people inside.
Police identified three suspects: 37-year-old Michael D. Stead, 23-year-old Monica M. Boggess and 33-year-old Cassandra L. Graves. Stead, Boggess and Graves were arrested for second-degree theft and booked into the Spokane County Jail, according to SPD.
SPD says officers recovered the stolen items and returned them to the store.
