Elderly man accused of hitting and killing Central Valley teacher with car released without bond

SPOKANE, Wash. – An elderly man accused of hitting and killing a Central Valley teacher learned Tuesday he will not be staying in jail as his case moves forward. Court documents reveal 35-year-old Mindy Wilson was on the phone with a friend the moment she was hit and killed Saturday night while crossing the intersection of East Empire and North Morton Street in northeast Spokane.
