Idaho sophomore Mia Sylvester has climbed the track and field ranks in rapid succession, with her hurl of 61-feet, 5-inches in the weight throw on Jan. 27 at the Podium in Spokane, she shattered a 21-year-old school record.
Sylvester continued to up the ante when the Vandals returned to the Podium a week later. With a toss of 65-7, she broke her record by more than four feet.
