SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Police Department (SPD) is investigating an incident after a suspect jumped into the Spokane River while running from police. According to SPD, police responded to a domestic violence call on West Water Ave. near People’s Park. Police said they tried to arrest the suspect, but the suspect jumped into the water.
