SPOKANE, Wash. — A man was swept down the Spokane River Saturday afternoon while trying to evade police.
According to the Spokane Police Department (SPD), they were responding to a protection order violation for domestic violence.
When officers arrived, a man ran away from police and jumped into the Spokane River.
Spokane Fire Department (SFD) responded to the scene and began searching for the man.
SPD is still searching for the missing man.
