Free parking, library branches closed on Presidents’ Day in Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. — Monday, February 19, is Presidents’ Day, and the City of Spokane wants you to know about some closures you should be aware of.

The City of Spokane says all Spokane Public Library branches will be closed. There also won’t be any City Council meetings on Monday, February 19.

Here is what else you need to know about for Presidents’ Day in Spokane.

You won’t need to pay for parking at meters or kiosks in Spokane on Presidents’ Day, but all parking rules, including time limits, still apply.

Solid Waste Services will stay on their normal schedule, and the Waste to Energy Facility will be open.

Despite no City Council meeting, Spokane City Hall will be open, along with My Spokane 311 and the Development Services Center.

The Numerica Skate Ribbon and Looff Carrousel in Riverfront Park will be open.
