AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – Avista Utilities responded to a large power outage in Airway Heights and Medical Lake on Wednesday, leaving thousands without power. The outages are affecting over 5,000 customers and were reported around 6:51 a.m. Wednesday morning, impacting Fairchild Air Force Base, Airway Heights Corrections Center, and many other businesses within the area.
