SPOKANE, Wash. — A traffic accident has closed Northbound lanes on Highway 2 north of Day Mount Spokane.
According to Washington State Patrol (WSP), a Chevy Volt travelling north attempted to merge from the shoulder hitting a GMC Yukon.
The Yukon rolled to the drivers side, continuing to down the highway.
The impact caused the Volt to cross into the southbound lane side swiping a Chevy Pickup.
The Volt eventually came to rest back in the northbound lane.
WSP says there are no life threatening injuries and expect the northbound lane to re-open in the next 30 minutes.
The Yukon had six people total inside the vehicle when it rolled; all wearing seatbelts.
Crews are on scene.
