TRAFFIC ALERT: All lanes now open on Highway 2 near Day Mount Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. — A traffic accident has closed Northbound lanes on Highway 2 north of Day Mount Spokane.

According to Washington State Patrol (WSP), a Chevy Volt travelling north attempted to merge from the shoulder hitting a GMC Yukon.

The Yukon rolled to the drivers side, continuing to down the highway.

The impact caused the Volt to cross into the southbound lane side swiping a Chevy Pickup.

The Volt eventually came to rest back in the northbound lane.
