SPOKANE, Wash. – A two-car crash on westbound I-90 killed two people, according to the Washington State Patrol.
WSP says the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
24-year-old Megan McDaniel from Spokane Valley was heading the wrong way down the westbound side of the freeway at Altamont and crashed into 59-year-old Alan Chang from Spokane.
Both drivers died at the scene.
The freeway was closed for several hours for investigation and reopened around 7 a.m.
WSP says it’s unknown right now if drugs or alcohol were factors.
