Spokane police looking for witnesses to Pride mural defacement

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department believes there were witnesses to the defacement of the downtown Pride crosswalk and police are asking those to come forward.

SPD says they are still actively investigating this incident for the crimes of arson and malicious mischief. Investigators say recent evidence come to light shows there may have been witnesses near Spokane Falls and Howard around 1 a.m. the night of the incident.
