Man sentenced after shooting in Spokane’s Logan neighborhood leaves victim paralyzed

SPOKANE, Wash. – A man was sentenced to over a decade in prison after a shooting in Spokane’s Logan neighborhood that left one man paralyzed last year. 33-year-old Ryan Shaules pleaded guilty to first-degree assault with a deadly weapon on June 26. The plea agreement also included a resolution for three other cases, including possession of drugs and an illegal firearm.
