SPOKANE, WA — A man was arrested on Thursday in connection to a deadly shooting in Spokane’s Nevada/Lidgerwood neighborhood, according to Spokane Police Department.
On June 25, just before midnight, an altercation between people that knew each other apparently escalated to a shooting on Wedgewood Avenue near Lidgerwood Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found one man dead in a walkway.
On June 27, after an extensive investigation, SPD arrested 23-year-old Wyatt F. Comer near North Pines Road and I-90 in Spokane Valley.
Comer was booked into the Spokane County Jail for second-degree murder.
The identity of the person killed will be released at a later time.
