Victim slashed with broken glass, suspect arrested

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department arrested a man for cutting a person’s face during a fight Friday afternoon.

Around 6:26 a.m. on June 28, officers responded to the area of W. Second and Division in downtown Spokane for a stabbing report.

When they arrived, officers were able to locate the suspect and arrest 24-year-old Elisha Z. Geiger for second-degree assault and obstruction.

Police were later able to identify that the suspect used a piece of broken glass to slash the victim before leaving the area.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
