Hazy Sunday with more spotty thunder -Matt

A hazy summer Sunday with spotty storms

Thunderstorm coverage won’t be as expansive as Saturday, but we’ll still here some rumbles in a few counties during a smoky afternoon and evening.

Saturday set the pattern that we’ll continue for the rest of the weekend: hazy and warm followed by a few hit-or-miss thunderstorms. Storm coverage will be lower on Sunday than Saturday, but we should hear some rumbles of thunder in several of our local counties during the afternoon and evening. Check the radar if you’re spending time outside during the second half of the day.

What We’re Tracking

  • Afternoon thunder in the Blues, Cascades, Kettles, and Selkirks.
  • Any storms will track northeast towards the Canada border
  • Dry and smoky around Spokane and Coeur d’Alene
  • Spotty PM storms through Monday
  • Cool and breezy midweek with highs in the low 80s
  • More rain possible next weekend
