Clothing vendor bringing the color to Pig Out in the Park

Spokane, WA — As people flock to Riverfront Park for Pig Out in the Park, they encounter a variety of unique vendors offering intriguing items. Among them is a vendor whose presence at the park spans decades.

Arlene Falcon, owner of Tie-Dye Everything, is a colorful fixture at Pig Out in the Park. Falcon has been showcasing her vibrant tie-dye creations for 35 years, a tradition that began at the 28th Annual Woodstock Festival in 1989. What started with just 20 shirts has now grown into a thriving business, with thousands of pieces sold each year.

“I’ve been doing it for a long time, so we know a thing or two. And these pieces are individually folded and dyed. The next day when we wash and dry them, it’s always a surprise to see what we get. It never gets old,” Falcon said.

Falcon unfortunately broke her wrist while setting up for Pig Out this year but, with a little help from friends, she’s still able to spread her colorful clothes and cheer.
