SPOKANE, Wash. – A man facing charges of attempted murder after pursuing and shooting at a couple made his first court appearance Tuesday afternoon. Court documents reveal that on Aug. 11 around 9 p.m., a Spokane Police Department officer was patrolling South F Street and West Sunset Boulevard when a car pulled up beside him. The officer observed that the occupants, a man and a woman, appeared panicked. According to the documents, the couple explained their distress to the officer.
