SPOKANE, Wash. — A new initiative put forth by Spokane City Council is aimed at combatting misinformation and helping the community better understand different proposals. In August, an ordinance known as “The Homeless Bill of Rights”, aimed at protecting homeless people from discrimination when seeking jobs and housing, was deferred.
