Hundreds run Centennial Trail for MultiCare’s annual Bridge to Brunch 5K

SPOKANE, Wash. — Hundreds of runners made their way down the Centennial Trail for MultiCare’s 7th annual Bridge to Brunch 5k on Saturday.

Over 600 runners came out on October 12 to support MultiCare’s Behavioral Health Network.

The race route began at the WSU Health Science building in Spokane and followed the Centennial Trail along the Spokane River, passed by Gonzaga University, across Division Street near the Upper Falls Reservoir, down into Riverfront Park and back to WSU’s Spokane campus.

At the finish line, runners and their supporters enjoyed a waffle brunch with live music and a mimosa tent.

Kevin Maloney of MultiCare said the weather was beautiful and called the race a “smashing success.”

“All proceeds for the event will go to support MultiCare’s Behavioral Health Network to expand services and create greater access to serve the need of our community,” said Maloney.
