SPOKANE, Wash. — If you’re already planning for some winter holiday fun, think about adding the Spokane Jazz Orchestra to your calendar!
On December 14, SJO will host its annual Christmas Concert, featuring the Christmas music of Ray Charles, with Seattle-area pastor and performer LaShund Lambert.
The 17-piece ensemble is made up of some of the Northwest’s most talented musicians, many of whom teach high school and college-level music.
According to its website, SJO was founded in 1975 and is the longest continuously performing community-supported jazz orchestra in the country.
The Christmas Concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Bing Crosby Theater, 901 W. Sprague Avenue. Tickets range in pice from $32-$42.
