REAL ID requirements for flying start in 6 months

SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane International Airport reminded passengers this week that there are six months left until REAL ID is required to board a flight. The REAL ID Act requires minimum levels of security for state IDs. On May 7, 2025, new security standards will be enacted, making previous Washington State licenses invalid for boarding flights.
