AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – A water main was damaged in an Airway Heights neighborhood, causing a water outage that lasted about seven hours. According to a city official, the incident occurred Tuesday at around 4:15 p.m. when a fiber optic contractor accidentally struck a water main while drilling at the intersection of Chandler Avenue and Russell Street.
