SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — A person is in custody Monday morning after another person was found stabbed in the street.
Police said they were called to the neighborhood at 22nd and Pines in Spokane Valley around 9 a.m.
Officers said there had been a fight between two people in the street when one stabbed the other. The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital; police did not immediately disclose that person’s condition.
It was not immediately known if the two knew each other, or what the motive of the fight and stabbing was.
The incident is under investigation, with police knocking on doors to check for witnesses or home surveillance camera footage that would’ve captured the incident.
It was not clear what charges the suspected stabber would face.
