Spokane Flags lowered to half-staff in remembrance of Jimmy Carter

SPOKANE, Wash. – Flags will be lowered to half-staff in Spokane to honor former President Jimmy Carter, who died on Sunday. “Today, we join the nation in mourning the loss of President Jimmy Carter,” Spokane Mayor Lisa Brown said. “President Carter dedicated his life to serving others; his legacy is one of unwavering character, bravery, and deep compassion.”
