SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — A person was hit and killed by a car in Spokane Valley on New Year’s Eve, according to Spokane Valley Police Department. Around 7 p.m. on December 31, emergency crews responded to a reported crash involving a pedestrian and a car near Appleway Avenue and Michigan Road.
