Snowy roads today, more winter weather this week – Matt

A burst of snow that fell early this morning left behind slick roads and anywhere from half an inch to 4 inches of snow in some neighborhoods. Give yourself extra time to get around today. We’ll see a long break from snow before it returns later in the week.

What We’re Tracking

• Mostly dry the rest of the day, just a few flurries or pockets of freezing drizzle
• More clouds and fog tonight, slightly cooler
• The next round of snow is on Friday
• Preliminary snow for Friday: most areas 1″ or less in Eastern Washington, 1-3″ for most in North Idaho
• Cooler and dry this weekend
