Washington governor signs ‘Right to Repair Act’ to make tools for electronics repairs more accessible

SPOKANE, Wash. — Washingtonians struggling with problems involving their electronics will soon have more ways to fix them, after Governor Bob Ferguson signed the “Right to Repair Act” into law on Tuesday.

William Hein is a staff member at Recycle Tech in Spokane and says that through the store’s 22 years of business, repairing computers and phones has become more complicated and less accessible.
