Shadle Neighborhood Shooting Leads to Arrest, Investigation Ongoing

SPOKANE, WA – An early morning shooting in Spokane’s Shadle neighborhood resulted in one arrest and an ongoing investigation, according to the Spokane Police Department.

At approximately 4:30 a.m. on May 29, officers responded to reports of gunfire near the 2400 block of West Rockwell Avenue. Multiple 911 calls were made after residents heard shots in the area.

Upon arrival, officers were informed that gunfire had been exchanged between individuals in a vehicle and a person inside a residence. A vehicle leaving the area was stopped nearby, and officers observed what appeared to be bullet damage on the vehicle’s exterior. The vehicle’s occupant was detained pending further investigation…
