SPOKANE, Wash. – The North Spokane Corridor project is set for a special event on Monday, June 9, where local and state leaders, including Gov. Bob Ferguson, will discuss the progress and continued support for the initiative.
Construction on the freeway began in 2001, with 7 1/2 miles currently open to the public. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is working on the final 3 miles, with additional projects slated to start this summer.
