Driver arrested after fleeing traffic stop in Spokane Valley

SPOKANE VALLEY — A driver who fled a routine traffic stop was arrested early Friday after deputies used spike strips and a PIT maneuver to end a pursuit through Spokane Valley.

Christopher M. Frazier, 35, was taken into custody following the incident that began just after midnight on June 20, 2025.

According to Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), Frazier was stopped for driving 38 mph in a 25 mph zone, having no license plate, and a defective taillight.
