Washington Heat Advisory: 102°F Temps to Scorch Spokane and Inland Northwest Through Tuesday Evening

Spokane, Washington – A dangerous stretch of extreme heat will grip eastern Washington and north Idaho starting Monday morning, with Spokane and surrounding cities expected to see temperatures soar into the upper 90s and low 100s through Tuesday night.

According to the National Weather Service in Spokane, a Heat Advisory is in effect from 9 a.m. Monday until 9 p.m. Tuesday for much of north central Idaho and eastern Washington. Highs could reach 102°F, with overnight lows offering little relief, staying in the upper 50s to mid-60s.

Cities including Spokane, Pullman, Lewiston, and Coeur d’Alene will be most at risk. Residents without effective cooling or hydration are urged to take precautions. Outdoor workers, the elderly, and those without air conditioning face heightened danger during this two-day heat event…
