Spokane County, in collaboration with local governments and other stakeholders, is updating the Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan and the Community Wildfire Protection Plan. These plans were last updated in 2020 and are key to helping our region reduce risks from natural hazards—such as wildfires, floods, and severe storms—while ensuring eligibility for federal disaster assistance.
To better understand the risks we face and how to prepare for them, we need your input.
This brief questionnaire is designed to:
- Assess local knowledge of natural disaster risks;
- Identify areas in the County that are especially vulnerable;
- Gather community insights to help guide future planning and mitigation efforts.
Your responses will directly inform the strategies we develop to protect lives, property, and critical infrastructure…
