Major infrastructure project causing traffic changes in northwest Spokane starting next week

SPOKANE, Wash. — A major water infrastructure project will impact traffic in northwest Spokane starting next week.

The city will begin installing a new water transmission main on Monday, July 7.

Phase one of this project will start at the Francis Avenue, Assembly Street and Driscoll Boulevard Junction. It will then move west to Rifle Club Road with residential and intersection closures along the way…
