PORTLAND, Ore. – Wildfires are raging across Oregon and Washington, with five large fires burning approximately 10,000 acres combined, said the Northwest Coordination Center in a release.
In Washington, four large fires are burning, including the Apple Acres Fire, which is the largest. It has consumed more than 3,200 acres along the Columbia River, east of Lake Chelan, and is currently 50% contained.
