Elderly Spokane man ran stop sign, killed in crash on Highway 2

COLBERT, Wash. — A man was hit and killed by an oncoming vehicle when he ran a stop sign in Colbert Sunday.

According to Washington State Patrol, 92-year-old Curtis Chumbley was driving east on Colbert Road toward Highway 2 around 4:15 p.m.
