GU makes adjustments in light of unusually small freshman class

Gonzaga University’s incoming freshman class is going to look different than others in recent years.

The current enrollment for the class of 2029 is 1,150 students, the first below 1,200 since 2020. University leaders said this lower enrollment will impact GU’s housing options, finances and future promotion efforts.
