WSP troopers arrest suspects for vandalizing electrical boxes and stealing copper wire

SPOKANE, Wash. — Two people were arrested for stealing copper wire and vandalizing Washington State Department of Transportation electrical boxes over the last month.

According to WSP, between June 6 and July 8, multiple WSDOT electrical boxes were vandalized and copper wire was stolen along the state highway and I-90 throughout Spokane County.

WSP said the damage was estimated to cost $168,000 and caused people in Washington to lose power…
