According to court docs, the crash happened around 5:30 a.m. near the 4800 block of South Perry Street. Witnesses told police a vehicle hit a woman jogging along the east shoulder of the road before crashing into a tree. The driver then allegedly ran from the scene through the nearby Manito Country Club.
