SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Arena says their yard sale was a success!
The Spokane Arena hosted a yard sale from July 16 to July 17, in the Spokane Arena Service Lot. The yard sale was a cashless event.
The arena posted a list of different items that were sold that impacted the community:
- A school purchases black theater curtains. They will use them to teach kids how to sew and mend, then use the finished product for their theater.
- A daycare purchased catering items and sinks. The daycare is expanding to take in more children
- Local theaters bought rigging, staging, lighting and A/V equipment
- A local movie theater bought lighting. Their new owners are hoping to start doing live shows
- A local music festival bought metal detectors
- Local farmers bought old red rails. They wanted to make pens for their animals
- Teachers bought items to decorate their classrooms
- Local restaurant owners and catering companies bought items for their businesses
The arena says they were giving away items from the Spokane Arena, the Spokane Chiefs, the Spokane Convention Center and Levy Restaurants…
