Man arrested in Spokane County for driving car reported stolen out of Montana

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — A man was arrested in Spokane County on Wednesday for driving a car that was reported stolen out of Montana.

According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, 31-year-old Blake L. Hampton was pulled over after the Chevy Malibu he was driving alerted an Automated License Plate Reader. The car was first reported stolen from Montana on June 3.

The Sheriff’s Office pulled Hampton over near North McKinnon Road and East Upriver Drive around 6:30 p.m. and he was safely taken into custody…
