Evacuations lowered for over 2,500-acre wildfire near Tumtum

STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — Evacuations have been reduced for the over 2,500-acre wildfire near Tumtum.

According to incident management, the Lake Spokane Fire is currently 2,556 acres and 38% contained.

Evacuations within the fire perimeter have been lowered from Level 3 (GO NOW) to Level 2 (Get Set) evacuations. The old Level 2 evacuations have also been downgraded to Level 1 from Happy Hills Road to Rail Canyon…
