The Spokane Valley Police Department (SVPD) identified the suspect who refused to comply during a standoff with law enforcement on July 24. Tandy C. Parker, 58, was charged with fourth-degree assault and resisting arrest after the standoff concluded.
According to the SVPD, deputies contacted the victim after responding to a domestic violence report in the 10100 block of East 15th Avenue. The victim described being assaulted after an argument with Parker had escalated, and stated that Parker had access to firearms inside their home…
