SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane County Regional Water Reclamation Facility is conducting a mixing zone study of the Spokane River on Tuesday, August 5.
In a press release sent to the media Monday afternoon, Spokane County said the study involved a dye tracer test where an environmentally-safe red dye will be added to the facility’s wastewater before it goes into the river.
The county also said the dye will be best viewed at North Havana Street and East Upriver Driver, but it can be seen for up to a half-mile downstream during the testing…
