SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Humane Society (SHS) is joining a nationwide effort to find loving homes for shelter pets by participating in the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ (ASPCA) “Rescue Effect” campaign.
The organization is asking the community to step up and consider adopting or fostering animals in need, as shelters across the country face overcrowding and longer stays for pets.
