Arrest made in Allenmore Emergency Room shooting

Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified a suspect. On Aug. 8, an adult male was taken into custody without incident in Kittitas County with assistance from the FBI, the U.S. Marshals Service, and the Spokane Police Department. The 25-year-old male was booked for murder in the first degree and assault in the first degree.

On Aug. 6 just after 7 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Allenmore Emergency Room on South Union Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located an adult male and an adult female with apparent gunshot wounds.

Despite life-saving efforts by medical personnel, the male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The female victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was released from the hospital later that night…
